The Surrey Sound Book Club gives you ideas for reading, whether novels to read on a summer holiday or practical books such as gardening or DIY.

Each month, Surrey Sound's Tess Lewsey talks to Tina Campey and Madeline Riley from Redhill Library who offer their expert knowledge on books.

This month's book club is presented by Philip Grant who looks at travel guides. Tess Lewsey spoke to Tine Campey and Madeline Riley from Redhill Library for their travel suggestions. There's also a preview of the new Paula Hawkins novel.

This month Tess Lewsey spoke to Meg Gibson Senior Stock Officer for Surrey Libraries and Tina Campey, Network Assistant at Redhill Library.

They spoke about how books are selected and the specialist Performing Arts library in Dorking. Recommended reads this month are on gardening topics.
